Apex Homes and What Is Under Them

Apex grew from a small railroad town into one of the fastest-growing towns in Wake County, and the great majority of its homes date from the 1990s onward. Outside the small historic downtown, our work here is in subdivision homes — many of them on crawl spaces finished the standard way at the time they were built: foundation vents, a plastic vapor barrier laid loose over the soil, and fiberglass batts between the floor joists.
